How do I report a comment or a user?

If you find a comment or a user’s behavior inappropriate, please report it to us so our moderation team can review and decide if it violates our Community Standards.

To report an inappropriate comment:

Tap the three dots (. . .) in the bottom right of the comment and select "Report"
Select the reason for reporting the comment
Tap Submit

Note: Once you report a comment, it will no longer be visible to you. However, this does not mean the comment has been removed by NewsBreak. Our moderation team will review the report and remove the comment if it is found to violate our Community Standards.

To block a NewsBreak user:

Tap the three dots (. . .) in the bottom right of the comment and select "Block User"
You can also go to their profile page, tap the three dots (. . .) in the upper right corner, and select "Block."

Note: Once a user is blocked, they will no longer be able to interact with you on NewsBreak.
